Our Curriculum

At Allenhouse Public School, we have meticulously designed a curriculum that nurtures growth, learning, and values at every stage of a student's educational journey. Our holistic approach follows ICSE guidelines, ensuring a well-rounded, practical, and values-driven education.

The ICSE curriculum emphasizes projects and laboratory work, with 20% of the marks in subjects allocated to internal assessment. This approach aims to build a strong foundation, enabling students to grasp more complex concepts. Covering a wide range of subjects, the ICSE board opens doors to careers in management, literature, and the arts. It also facilitates success in both international and national competitive exams.

Our school is divided into following key stages: To begin with, Blossom(PG-II), Nurture(III-V) , and gradually to Progress(VI-VIII) and Enrich (IX-XII), each with a distinct curriculum approach.

Blossom (Preschool to Grade II)

"In the Blossom stage, our primary focus is on cultivating the love for learning, critical thinking, and foundational skills. We introduce young learners to English, Hindi, and Mathematics, EVS, Coding, performing & visual arts, Financial Literacy through play-based activities, interactive learning, and storytelling. Character development and inculcating moral values are integral to our curriculum."

Evolve (Grades III to V)

In the Nurture stage, we continue to adhere to ICSE standards by offering a comprehensive education. Our curriculum delves deeper into core subjects, such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental studies, 3rd languages, Coding, Animation. We encourage critical thinking and practical application of knowledge through project-based learning. Co-curricular activities and electives are available to align with students' individual interests. Our approach prioritizes character development and social responsibility, in line with holistic philosophy.

Prosper (Grades VI -VIII)

In the Progress stage, we guide students towards achieving excellence, in alignment with learning outcomes expected from the upper grades. We provide advanced subjects and specialized courses to cater to diverse interests. Alongside the main subjects, we offer skill-based courses. Our approach to learning emphasizes interaction, experimentation, and discussions, encouraging students to think critically and solve problems. Field trips and visits are organized to provide real-life experiences related to academic concepts. Leadership development, public speaking, and community service projects are integral components of our curriculum approach.
